What Customers Say About Joshua:

I recommend it for all ages above 12. I think the portrayal of Christ was done well and the ending generated a lot of discussion. Considering that the book was written from a 1980's perspective and it was a first novel, I thought it was quite an easy read. The book was assigned to our adult book club in a Roman Catholic Church and generated some lively discussion.
I've given away several copies knowing that it will bless others as much as it has blessed me. If you're looking for a refreshing novel that views Jesus as a contemporary figure. this is it. Wonderful novel by Father Joseph Girzone. I highly recommend it. Joe sees the Jesus of love and compassion who embracesall unconditionally. Fr. Great book by a great author.
They are using this to learn to walk the walk that Jesus walked. Fr. Joshua has long been a favorite book of mine. This book will change the way that you look at people in your life. Girzone wrote a keeper when he wrote this book. My husband is now using it as a "bible discussion book" for his prison ministry. The men love it and some have even read beyond the chapter assigned.
I will recommend it to all my friends. This will be a great book for my teenage grandaughters to read. I purchased a copy for our pastor to read and share. This was an amazing book and wonderful story. I truly enjoyed the characters and the excellent way the book was written.
How might people react.Highley recommend If Christ walked the earth, what might he be like. If you're even the least bit spiritual, you'll truly enjoy this book. The message crosses all barriers of christianity (humanity for that matter).
